Focus on imaging 2013 - Katie Green
Katie Green at Focus On Imaging 2013 on the Hasselblad and Broncolor stage posing for crowds and demonstrations. As always she was very professional taking the time for everyone who attended the demonstration to get a photo of her.
Focus on imaging is Europe's biggest annual imaging show, great for professionals and hobbyist. This year at Focus had many stands demonstrating, promoting and showing photography tips and tricks including Bowens, Calumet, Lastolite, Hasselblad, Broncolor and many more like Karl Taylor photography masterclass which was an exciting show smashing up wine glasses, Frank Doorhof at The Flash Centre was smoking (literally), Jim Schmelzer getting the crowd involved and learning,
Although this year they had many stands doing demos and seminars I do feel that many of them are just too close to each other, which as a result the instructors had to talk over other instructors, for example Calumet's demos were overpowered by the sound of OnOne software because they had a bigger mic. Damien Lovegrove at Lupolux had to try and finish his demo sooner so not to clash with The Flash Centre when Frank Doorhof comes on. Karl Taylor, Canon and Hasselblad show floor was literally one step away from each other which made it really crowed when doing their demos. I really do hope they will add just one more hall for this fantastic event giving us a little bit more space.
Again like every year it was a great place to learn, ask questions, practice, try your hands on very expensive equipments that cost a lot of money! Overall a great place for beginners and pro photographers. Credits to all the workshops, seminars and big thanks to all the models and the stage demos.
