The Milltown Feeder is an exceptionally charming small canal branch of the Grand Canal or Ireland. I had been up a bit of it in March 1980. This time on 17th March 2023 we were at Milltown Bridge and I was really taken by the Conver weedkiller. It would be perfect for Carlingwark Loch. Nearby an interpretation board reproduced a 19th century handbill for packet boat services from here to Dublin.
