Some of today has gone on scanning. So we are at Chester Le Street on the 15th January 1983. The General was operating MBO 509F. This had been new to Cardiff City in 1968. It was an AEC Swift with an Alexander body but what suffix letter should follow.A W type I think and Northern had that body as well.
