Buffalo River

In Arkansas, this is a serene multi-day trip. Aside from a couple of spots, you are alone. The river is just a float, but there is plenty of action - birds from every corner of North America mix, turtles and snakes abound, beaver and otter are plentiful.
And Arkansas is a convenient drive from anywhere!
Both my trips ended too soon.
