When I met you I found what true love really was,

Still today it amazes me what it really does,

I've always been in love with you even when we were apart,

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart

It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

 

I knew that one day I'd be your wife,

And on that special day; it gave a meaning to my life,

We’ve been through so much and it has been fifty years,

Our love keeps growing stronger; I think that's pretty clear,

Thank you my dear for loving me and sticking by my side,
