Das OBON Fest (JAPAN) wird am 16. Juli (Abschieds-Obon) und im westlichen Teil Japans im August gefeiert.

いいもんだ、おばあちゃんの好きなものばかり、今日干した梅干しも添えて。
Obon is an annual Buddhist event for commemorating one's ancestors. It is believed that each year during obon, the ancestors' spirits return to this world in order to visit their relatives. Welcome back my grandmother!

Obon ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung in Japan, zum Gedenken an die Vorfahren. Es wird angenommen, dass jedes Jahr während Obon, Geister der Vorfahren zurück in diese Welt kommen um ihre Verwandten zu besuchen. Willkommen zurück meine Großmutter! Mari Sato
O-bon (jap. お盆) oder nur Bon (das „O“ ist ein japanisches Honorativpräfix) ist ein japanischer buddhistischer Feiertag zur Errettung der Geister der verstorbenen Ahnen.
