15th December was the last day for the RHTT in South Yorkshire. 37402 was in considerably worse condition than its first day of service on the RHTT, with perhaps the exception of the wheelsets which had been re-ground at Toton.
Also that day a DB loco failed at Grindleford causing a backlog of freights returning to the Peak District and deserving of a late afternoon trip to Bamford
