Mont Semnoz
Not a regular cyclist, but my friend took me, his daughter, his friend and his daughter on a 'short' bike ride near Lake Annecy. Well having cycled 17km of constant uphill, rising 1.2km above Lake Annecy to a height of 1691m above sea level, it was a quicker 30km descent. At the start of the long descent it would have been remiss not to take a photograph, despite the fatigue from the 1hr 45 minute climb. The descent took less than 45 minutes excluding the lunch break at the Col de Leschaux at a height of just under 1,000m above sea level.
Slightly more testing than nipping out to Bamford which was a big ride at the start of lockdown.
