47593 makes its way up and down between Appleby and Skipton today, across viaducts and along valleys.
The start of a long day at the south end of the S&C with Andy Hoare and despite the good weather forecast the skies suggested otherwise. That said as with this shot and many other the sun appeared at the right times and the further north we went, the better the weather was. This was the first of 8 passes of this train we caught being the ECS run from Appleby to Skipton.
If you believe the lineside rumour this week will be the last of the 47593 / 37521 pairing and 2 green 47s will be running next week.
