An interlude from the 91s as an STP was in today's schedule through Sheffield a Scarborough to Manchester Longsight light engine move. Making things more interesting was a pathing through Tinsley and Woodburn junctions meaning for whatever reason the train could not pass through Wincobank, a route for which 68s are not passed. In the end 68020 ran through with 68029 dead in tow.
The irony the loco hauling the dead unit is called reliant whilst the dead loco is Courageous.
