A quick Flickr rant. Today the powers that be at Flickr have declared to encourage more use of the site, that if anyone wants more than 1,000 images on their site, they will have to pay £50 a year for PRO. This is because the popularity of the site is losing out to other and they feel a charge for regular users will generate more use. Personally I believe it will discourage use and am considering not paying the PRO licence. I wonder which 4,500 images of mine they will delete.
