DSC_1378 Lugano - Switzerland
Three from a sunny day in Italy / Switzerland. We made the mistake of driving from Ponte Treas on the border to Lugano which took and age instead on catching the local narrow gauge railway. We struggled to find anywhere to park in Lugano, especially not having any Swiss francs. We ended up parking on the far side of the railway station and managed a few rail shots crossing through, but missed two DB freight trains whilst trying to get hold of cash and pay for the parking. I guess if we had sorted the parking earlier I wouldn't have even seen the trains.
After Lugano, another queue back to Ponte Tresa, followed by a relaxing dip in the late afternoon on the Italian side of Lake Lugano.
