Display of the Roman Via Latina in the square in Arpino, Fr. Italy

Arpino, Ancient Arpinum, birthplace of Marcus Tullius Cicero. According to one resident, workers uncovered this section of the Via Latina when renovating the town square and the town decided to incorporate a display in the rebuild. This photo was taken at night when the town was lighted for the festival of St Anthony of Padua, patron saint of Arpino, June 15, 2014.
