Utopia leaving Selby
Another operator increasing it's portfolio of service work in the NYCC April changes was Utopia (Mini) Coaches of Sherburn-in-Elmet, who picked up three additional services and acquired a pair of Dart SLFs to operate them. R138RLY was new in 1997 to Metroline as a two door bus (you can just tell !) numbered DLD38 and was seen here on Monday about to cross the Selby Canal at Burn Bridge. Full marks go to Utopia here, a smartly painted bus, ticket machine, electronic display etc. ..........a small matter is it's showing details of Wednesday only route 488, whilst actually working the Monday & Friday 486, but that's only a minor detail !.
