walnut pie

Every year a dozen or so Corellas visit my neighbors walnut tree where they rip off the outer skin, break open the nuts for the tasty flesh inside & peacefully discard them into my pool where some branches hang over the fence.

They get the timing right every year and every year I get the job of cleaning up after them which is why this is my Saturday cliche. HCS
