Kalksten - Limestone

Teatrets højde har tilsyneladende reddet det fra at blive brugt som stenbrud i middelalderen. Man kan ikke tage sten fra neden og ville ikke binde an med at begynde fra oven.

 

The height of the theatre has apparently saved it from being used as a quarry in medieval times. They couldn't take stones from the bottom and wouldn't tackle starting from the top.
