Grand Traverse Lighthouse
On my last day in Michigan, I wanted to see at least one of Michigan's lighthouses, so I drove up to Northpoint. After two days of mid-70 degree weather, a cold front came through, which brought in these heavy dark clouds and a cold wind. Originally built in 1850, the Grand Traverse Lighthouse is located at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula in the State of Michigan and separates Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay. It marks the Manitou passage, where Lake Michigan elides into Grand Traverse Bay
