BNN Interview
Good evening from Holly at Blythe Network News. Tonight we have a special interview with JennWrenn in Australia who is hosting Amelia The Traveling Blythe. Back in March of 2010 when I looked at the schedule for Amelia I could not believe how much time had to pass before she reached Australia. We were her third host and many things have changed since that time. I am overjoyed to finally put the pushpin on Australia! And now to our interview. (This is a real interview and the station stands by its authenticity.)
JennWrenn: I’m very honoured to be interviewed by so distinguished and experienced a reporter.
Holly: Thank you. Can you tell us where you are located in Australia?
JennWrenn: I live in the city of Brisbane, which is the capital of the state of Queensland. Brisbane is a subtropical city, so we get hot humid Summers and beautiful mild Winters. We also can get big storms and even sometimes cyclones! But they only happen once in a long while. I don’t think Amelia should worry. www.flickr.com/photos/39205945@N05/6725259915/in/photostream
Holly: We have not seen the contents of Amelia’s box in a long time. Does she have many items?
JennWrenn: Amelia is traveling with lots of lovely postcards from places that she’s visited, and some very sweet tiny treasures that some of her hosts have included. She is still able to fit into a normal sized shipper box though, because bigger gifts can be sent directly to Sandra (minkidynamite).

Holly: How is Amelia getting on with your girls? Do they have any difficulty with each others accents?
JennWrenn: She met all of my other girls this morning at breakfast, and you know what? They have all become instant friends! There is no language barrier because (as Amelia herself says) “blythe speaks the language of love and harmony”!
(Sounds of applause and cheers from the camera crew, grip, and best boy.)
Holly: Is Brisbane hosting any special events in honor of Amelia?
JennWrenn: A couple of major events have been scheduled to coincide with Amelia’s visit:
Tomorrow the Queensland Museaum reopens in time for their 150th anniversary celebrations after being closed for major renovations for 3 ½ months. Coincidence? I think not. Also of course we celebrate our National Day – ‘Australia Day’ – on Thursday 26th January.
Holly: Thank you so much for this wonderful informative interview! We hope you and your girls have a wonderful time with Amelia.
JennWrenn: I will keep you up to date with Amelia’s activities through posting photos each day. Talk again soon!
BNN thanks Jenn for taking time to be interviewed by the station. It is a way of letting all of us be part of The Traveling Blythe Program even if you are not a host. Show your thanks to her by checking out and commenting on her photos. That is where I am going now. Thank you for tuning in to Blythe Network News. This is Holly saying Good Night!
