Frida rarely stands still, but I managed to get a few quick shots of her in her new dress.
What you can't see in this photo is the INSANITY of last night's sewing session. It was my first time using my new Janome serger, but the "issues" were all mine, not the serger's nor the pattern's. The amazing (miraculous) thing is that it all resulted in a decent dress, made from interlock that I have had stashed for well over a year.
The dress is supposed to have a tight waistband, with the top blousing out a bit, but Frida's too slim right now for that effect :)
The box in the background is the serger's...the rest of the mess is status quo these days. You should have seen the state of the living & dining rooms around 11 p.m. last night (or maybe not) -- it was a serging battleground.
