Peregrine in flight
I went back to see the Sheffield Peregrines today. The chicks have had an eventful couple of days as they have fledged - with the female chick ending up being mobbed by a load of magpies whilst sat up the top of a poplar tree and then falling until she ended up several feet from the ground! When I arrived, I saw 3 of the flying at the same time. I was very lucky in that one flew right over my head, so I was able to get a good underneath shot. I hope they stay around a while longer as I have really enjoyed watching how things have developed.
