December 31st - The Finale!
The last shot of my 365 for 2011 - and it wasn't quite the shot I had in mind! I have made it - thank goodness. I had planned on doing a night shot from a local viewpoint capturing Sheffield and hopefully some New Years Eve fireworks. Unfortunately, I have a cracking hadache so will be going to bed early therefore this will have to be my final shot.
I love Sheffield and I have lived here for 19 1/2yrs - longer than I lived in Northampton - so this is most definitely my home. I love how the city is so close but yet the Peak District and Derbyshire are close too - such contrast in such a short distance travelled. I definitely recommend a visit if you've never been and a return for those who haven't been in a while. The city always seems to be in a constant state of flux with things changing all the time.
Anyway, the 365 is done and I think I thanked all my Flickr friends yesterday. I wanted to leave the biggest Thank-You to today, as this goes to some truly fantastic people that have had to put up with me and my camera over the last year - My Family! They have all been totally great and supportive and I think they are looking forward to not having to have me and my camera everywhere we go. (They think I'm going to do View 52 during the weekdays when they're not around - ha ha ha, little do they know!)
