August 22nd - At last!
I have taken the kids to my Mum and Dad's for a few days. We went to Summer Leys Nature Reserve this afternoon. It was a fab place - we saw so much wildlife it was unbelievable. Loads and loads of Dragon and damselflies, but unfortunately, they just didn't stay still for long enough to get a picture. I managed to capture this one using manual focus, so I'm quite pleased with the result - just a shame the wings and body weren't in more focus! MANTRA: I SHALL get a decent dragon/damselfly shot this year. So I shall keep trying!
