August 6th - A cutting
Now I had a dilemma today. Nick took the children to meet his Mum and sister at Swanwick as Thomas the Tank Engine was there. Very kindly (and without prompting, I might add!) he gave me the day off so I could have some time to myself woohoo. My dilemma was, should I go off for the day and spend as much time as I want taking pictures, or should I catch up on the housework so I hadn't got so much to do over the next few days when the kids are around? Yes, I did the female thing and got the housework done with no photography at all. I therefore was hunting around for a shot for the 365 - again! This is another shot of the rose I did a couple of days ago (Cultivation). It looks so much better in black and white than colour. Why can I not take a shot of a rose and keep it in colour? Is it because I don't like roses? I suppose I could use this as a potential for the "black and white" August challenge - bonus!
