June 8th - Flying heron

I have wanted to capture a grey heron in flight for a while now and today I was lucky. I spotted him on the other side of the pond and took a few shots. Within minutes, he just took off. Fortunately, I had the settings just right to capture him - I was so pleased! If only I had managed to pan him
