Eye of the beholder
I'm so pleased with how this set has turned out. I only did an hour of shooting and took 93 pics. I feel as if I am well on top of the set up now.
I have seen this idea with the eye refraction somewhere before but can't remember where - either in a magazine or on Flickr.
There is NO trickery or Photoshop involved! I own no special equipment (I have read about water valves and sensors to trigger flash guns etc). I just have my Canon 500d with its pop up flash and some extension tubes - that is it!
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy doing them.
