Feb 19th - More snow!
Surprisingly, we woke to snow again this morning. We were supposed to be going out for the day to celebrate Nick's birthday, but the snow scuppered that plan. Once we had finally got dressed, it was lunchtime and it had stopped snowing. Fortunately, the roads had started to clear so we were able to get out for lunch. After lunch we carried on to Ladybower and Derwent reservoirs. We have never known them to be so quiet! On the way back, we came via Burbage, Ringinglow and the roads were quite dicey from not only the snow but the fog that was dropping in. Is this the last of the snow for this winter? Watch this space.....!
