sworn enemies of the avengers league.

 

goblin joker (joker + green goblin)

no one is exactly sure who this lunatic is or why he does what he does. the best theory is based off the suit and glider is that he was a former employee of oscorp. the suit gives him enhanced strength, speed, agility and stamina. the glider can be remotely controlled and fires bullets, bombs, lasers, pies and pretty much anything this clown will load into it. not a real member of the brotherhood of doom. he just takes advantage of the chaos. he has taken to wearing a purple cape lately to try and convince young kids he is really a superhero.

 

magnus (lex luthor + magneto)

son of a lionel eisenhardt, a holocaust survivor. he took the name of erik luthor and using his powers of magnetism combined with his genius level i.q. built luthorcorp as a front for his evil empire. leader of the brotherhood of doom. he awakened skullnestro despite his intense hatred for his Nazi background. he plans on betraying skullnestro once he has his own yellow power ring and making the earth the center of all power in the universe.

 

mys kitty (catwoman + mystique)

she uses the alas of selina darkholme and claims to have lost her memory in a plane crash. even a level 5 psychic can only glimpse that she is over a hundred years old and has/is/will be involved in a time travel paradox. she has the natural power of shape shifting that has been augmented to allow her to change into any animal or being at will. though she cannot copy their powers. out of sheer boredom she is a master thief but her true purpose is a natural born killer.

 

groddernaut (gorilla grodd + juggernaut)

an alien spacecraft crashed in the jungles of Africa. the radiation caused the local apes to mutate into hyper intelligent beings capable of telepathic and telekinetic powers . he was banished from gorilla city after trying to seize control. he discovered the gem of a mystical entity, cyttorak, and was empowered by magically energies. he has been given super strength and a force field to protect him from physical attacks. he does not tire from physical activity and doesn't need food, water of oxygen to survive. once he unlocks all of the gem's powers it will increase his powers a thousand fold. he wears a helmet to protecthim from his only weakness, mental attacks. he can create a replacement helmet at will so long as he has the materials available.

 

dr. zero (mr. freeze + doc ock)

victor octavious, another genius misfit due to an abusive childhood. his former boss set up a lab explosion in an effort to rid himself of a future son-in-law and to sell off victor's inventions. the lab explosion melted a special harness to his back and exposed him to experimental cryogenic chemicals. its unknown if the freeze powers were a result of that exposure or just activated a latent mutation. he swore to make the world pay for the death of his future wife.

 

mr. stone (soloman grundy + tombstone)

cyrus Lincoln was born an albino. he was bullied at first but then become the bully himself. he started out as a thug but in short time became a hitman and enforcer. he filed his teeth to a point in order to use his condition to inspire fear in his victims. during some criminal activity at oscorp he was caught in an explosion and exposed to an experimental gas and appeared to have killed him. the following Monday his corpse rose out of the swamp. his body had been mutated by the gas and he is a zombie/swamp monster with superhuman strength and stamina. he is nearly invulnerable to physical, magical, energy attacks and is not affected by cold or heat. even when his enemies manage to destroy him, he will return to life sooner or later.

 

skullnestro (sinestro + red skull)

using the green power ring he stole from a dying alien, he conquered his world and ruled it with an iron fist. he was eventually found out by guardians of that power and he was banished to die on a primitive, violent world called earth. he landed in pre ww2 Germany where he created a mask to hide his physical appearance from the humans. wanting revenge he used the alias of johann schimdt and infiltrated the Nazi party and quickly became one of the highest ranking members where he used their influence to create the hydra corps. under the guise of creating the most powerful weapons the earth had ever seen for the nazis'. the real goal of hydra was to create a new power ring to rival his original ring. with that he would conquer the earth and destroy the guardians. he was defeated before the end of ww2 by an American super soldier and ended up in suspended hibernation until he was awakened by magnus. where the two formed an uneasy alliance. magnus would help skullestro so long as he got the earth for himself.

 

prince manta (black manta + prince namor) his atlantean father having been sent to spy on the humans, fell in love with a human woman. when his father failed to report in a team of atlanteans was sent to check on him. branded a traitor he was executed. his mother escaped and gave birth to a pink skinned atlantean/human hybrid at the dawn of the 20th century. his mother was eventually locked up in an asylum for the mentally ill and he was placed in an orphanage. where his caretaker soon discovered his gills. he was then experimented on and tortured. he was taken to a lake to test his abilities. he was submerged in water for the first time in his life. it made him stronger, faster and calmed his mind. he attempted to escape and was caught. to punish him his gills were sewn shut and he lost the ability to breath underwater. when he finally did escape for good he spent the next few years of his life working on a way for him to explore the ocean. he created a special suit that allowed him to breath underwater. once in the ocean he encountered the blue skinned atlanteans. eventually he met an American super soldier and joined the allies during world war 2. after world war 2 he became enraged at American nuclear testing that had destroyed his adoptive atlantean home. his natural powers are withstanding extreme pressures, super strength, speed, stamina, agility and longevity. his new suit also has the ability to shoot laser beams from his eyes, electricity from his hands and can he fly with help from his boots. he carries a trident that disables the telepathic powers of full-blooded atlanteans. however he isn't evil by nature and has been both a good guy and a bad guy.

 

ivy enchantress (poison ivy + enchantress)

 

am'o-ra found about odin-el's plan to send his son to earth. she told odin-el about her own rocket. that with his help it could be modified to make the trip to earth. she would be in suspended animation until the ship reached earth. by the time she arrived his son would be a mature male and would need a mate. odin-el agreed and sent her to earth before the frost giant destroyed azton. but when she got to earth she found thor-el already in love with a human woman named jane lane. after some time spent on earth she discovered she had incredible strength, speed and a connection to plants. while posing as a student she feel in love with a human professor. she showed him her powers and he was extremely excited. he ended up using her as an experiment to learn about and control her connection to plants. when he got what he wanted he tried to kill her by injecting her with poisonous plant toxins. she survived by becoming part plant but it drove her insane. the plant toxins tinted her hair red and her skin green. she learned to control the level of toxins in her system and appear as a blonde bombshell. the toxins allow her to create different types of pheromones that give her special abilities. she has been known to be able to control the minds of people around her by skin on skin contact. she can also concentrate toxins in her lips to be so strong they can kill with a single kiss. it enhanced her connection to plants and is capable of controling the plants around her. she is even able to animate them into plant creatures. she is convinced that she is the only woman worthy of being with thor-el. she joined the brotherhood of doom when magnus promised her if she helped them then she would get thor-el.
