A hazard reduction burn is planned for Tuesday 7 August to help protect Wooli from summer wildfires as part a program of hazard reduction burns for Yuraygir National Park, east of Grafton. The burn within central Yuraygir National Park will be immediately north of Wooli behind properties on the northern edge of the village along the Wooli Road, Williams Crescent and Lawson Close.
