Alpha Delta's 90th Anniversary

by mizzougpb

The Alpha Delta chapter of Gamma Phi Beta celebrated their 90th year on the University of Missouri - Columbia campus from Saturday, April 30, 2011 to Sunday, May 1, 2011. Alumnae from all over gathered with sisters alike and made the trip to Columbia. On Saturday, the women visited the Historic Residence of Chancellor Deaton, located on the Francis Quadrangle, for a beautiful reception. The reception was hosted by Mrs. Ann Deaton. Later that night, everyone attended a gathering at Harpos' "10 Below" lounge. From 6 to 9 p.m. the women mingled, ate dinner and enjoyed reminiscing about their years as Gamma Phi Betas. On Sunday there was the official "90th Celebration" including Tours and an Open House Recruitment Party at the Alpha Delta Chapter House. Proceeding the visit to the house, there was a luncheon at the University Ballroom at the Hampton Inn. Alumnae brought special memorabilia and shared their fondest memories with sisters. We hope to see everyone back in ten years for our 100th year!
