Stars and trains at Gatton

A rare clear February day resulted in a reasonably clear February evening, at Gatton on QR's mainline west from Brisbane. The orientation of the galaxy isn't the best at this time of year at this location, but I managed to get this shot of the bridge, with the light trails of an eastbound loaded coal train and a westbound empty. The cloudlike structure in the bottom right is actually grass - I missed that it would be in the field of view in the dark! Given the ambient light from the street nearby, occasional passing cars and at the end of the sequence, the moon, I used a much shorter exposure (1 insteaed of 5 minutes) than I usually do for this sort of work, and a lower ISO (200 instead of 400). This is a composite of 55 images, combined in StarStax. 26 February 2016.
