For a while, I wanted to experiment with light trail photography and "lunar light", which wasn't a bad idea since progressively most trains on this section of line now run after dark. A Brisbane-bound steel train winds its way around the Border spiral. The slight softness of this image was created by a shortlived fog bank drifting up the valley just at the critical time. 12 May 2006.
