Destruction or Creation?
This image was originally a vision that I saw while worshipping when driving down the road! I saw the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roaring while His flaming mane was flowing into rivers of water. As I began painting I knew that He needed to be between two high, snow-covered peaks, forging His way through the canyon. The reoccuring water them has taken on a more purple hue in this painting, which speaks of His royalty. Out of the King's fiery passion new things are being created. The rivers of water symbolize the new life. There is also an element of judgment in the lion's positioning between the two mountains.
