Let Freedom Ring
Prints only.
This piece is part two of the Freedom Series. It features Martin Luther King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech and Abraham Lincoln's signing of the "Emancipation Proclamation". The "great beacon light of hope" that King spoke of shines through the darkness of oppression, and out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope emerges, where King and Lincoln are placed. King's vision that one day children of every race and color could join together as brothers and sisters is also portrayed as they dance on the foundation of the Liberty Bell's promise to "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof."
