The first printing press 1440

This printing press was invented by Johannes Gutenberg to replaceable/moveable wooden or metal letters in 1436 (completed by 1440).

 

The printing press used hand press to transfer the moveable hand-set block letters with ink that rolled over block letters surfaces then pressed against a sheet of paper.
