Jeez... I left out liking sunsets, storms, lightning, thunder, bugs, amphibians, reptiles, orchids, iris, roses, photographs, history... and the smile and laugh of a woman...
1.I’ve actually sold a painting I did. I should have kept it. As an artist I would have starved a long time ago though. But I will try again someday.
2.I’ve been writing a book for the past year or so… I hope to have it finished this year. Some of it actually makes sense thus far…
3.My son has held my life in his hands on many occasions, as I have his while climbing. How many men can say that literally?
4.I admire men like Alvin York, Theodore Roosevelt, and my Dad.
5.I enjoy the company of people with dreams and stories. So many of the people we walk by have the most extraordinary tales!
6.I love to laugh. Whether by Monty Python or Mark Twain, a sharp wit is greatly appreciated!
7.I believe you must read critically. A lot. Preferably from books you own. By that, I mean, that you are willing to put your money where your mind is…
8.I often dream in color… I am no stranger to colorful language either.
9.I keep my hand on my wallet with both Republicans and Democrats. Man is a political animal, as Aristotle once said. Therefore, one still must keep a wary eye on those that believe they know a better way to run your life.
10.I believe there is both good and evil. I have seen evidence of both.
11.A child’s pain is my Achilles heel. I can’t stand the sight of that pain.
12.I believe a man without faith is a man without hope.
13.I believe everyone should know a tune, a poem, a quote, a joke and a prayer. Be prepared for life.
14.I love my family, my friends, and my country, and have no qualms about fighting for any of them at any cost. The choice between self-defense and submission is an easy one for me.
15.I have been loved and hated. Sometimes in the same day :)
16.Whenever I am alone, I know someone cares about me.
