#5. Flashman and the Mountain of Light
Flashman aged: 23 to 24
Years: 1845 - 1846
*Notes
In "Flashman and the Mountain of Light" which is set directly after the events in "Flashman's Lady", Flashy in sent to India where the English are anticipating a confrontation with the Sikh Army. Dispatched to the Punjab and the city of Lahore as a political agent, when not trying to stay alive, he spends a good while with the local ladies, and somehow manages to escape, and escape dying in the first anglo Sikh war, with the "Mountain of Light" aka the Koh-i-Noor diamond in his pocket.
This build was all about trying to capture the Mughal architecture style, and depict a scene within the city of Lahore. While it may seem odd to have Flash hold a gun - he is described in the book as carrying a Cooper Pepperbox.
