Wood Carving
The tradition of wood craving in North American is a subject of study with two schools of thought. One states that the tradition was carried by European immigrants to the American shores and the other believes that it is a separate tradition. Regardless of who is correct, neither school seems to find photos of the subject. In this photo we actually have a group engaged in wood carving somewhere in Europe with the family of at least one named Harald ending up in North America.
