The more familiar Pioneer SX-737 receiver was supplied from 1974 with a black front under the designation SX-7730 specifically for the EU market. You do not see the dark version so often. And I am a true fan of dark versions - so I'm lucky for picked it just up.
40 watts of power per channel were well exceeded in test reports. The 7730 sounds quite good with good FM-stereo tuning characteristics. 16kg weight and a width of 52cm helps the receiver to an imposing piece of seventies HiFi history.
