Lahore (Hindi : लाहौर ) is a upcoming 2010 Bollywood film Releasing on March 19, 2010. Sai Om Films Pvt. Ltd.’s Maiden venture Lahore has the biggest Hollywood studio Warner Bros. Pictures as its Distributor. It has been directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Vivek Khatkar. It Stars debutants Aanaahad and Shraddha Das in the leading roles and has veteran actors like Farouque Shaikh, Nafisa Ali, Late Nirmal Pandey, Sushant Singh, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Saurabh Shukla, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kelly Dorji, Mukesh Rishi, K Jeeva, Shraddha Nigam in key roles.
Lahore is being looked as the most authentic sports film ever made in India and has some of the best technicians from Bollywood and Hollywood working on it. It’s grand Production Design has been done by Kesto Mondal, Music by legendary M M Kreem, Action Choreography has been done by Master Tony Leung Siu Hung, Wayne Sharpe has done the original background score, it also had Rob Miller of Chak De fame as Sports consultant.
It has already won various international awards like Best Film at the prestigious 42nd Worldfest, Houston International Film Festival, Best Actor(Aanaahad) at Tenerife International Film Festival(UK), Most Aspiring Film Maker(Sanjay Chauhan) at Filmmakers International Film Festival(UK), Best actor(Aanaahad) at Salento International Film Festival, Italy and had all 6 nominations at Asian Festival Of First Films, Singapore.
