It was good to have that unique, metalic art installation on the Embarcadero at the foot of Pier 14 for the last 2 years. I eagerly await the next creation by the crafty crew at Five Ton Crane and Black Rock Arts Foundation.
What's happening in the image? Well, that's Captain Nathaniel Taylor boarding the Raygun Gothic Rocketship for the last time before he mysteriously atomized into a glowing red cloud. He was such a nice guy, too. Or, it might have something to do with an 1,100 lumen light-painting light, also.
Thanks, guys! (Sean Orlando, Nathaniel Taylor, David Shulman, Alan Rorie and their talented crew)
And I thank you for having a look!
