I almost didn't want to upload this image because of how it is hard to appreciate on flickr, but, I think we all know how that goes.

While waiting for rainbows in the rain (duh!) up at Bat. 129, I had figured the day to be a washout (ooo...sorry!) when this opening in the seemingly completely cloudy sky happened. It produced this modest rainbow that was just what the exceedingly-gloomy day called for.

I waited some time after this one for another, but no chance. Still, sticking around was a good idea because of what happened later when the cruise ship Aurora steamed under the Golden Gate Bridge. But, that's another story.
