Let there be Light (Pollution)

A low-res, flatbed scan of a 6x7cm (2 1/4 x 2 3/4 inch) transparency.

Every film tends to render stray light a little differently. Sometimes, it looks like an ectoplasmic green fog and sometimes it looks pretty much the same as what the eye sees. The mixed light that comprises the light pollution of a given area is something like what happens when you mix several paints in a dish.

This was taken by the Port of San Francisco. You cas see the Bay Bridge, Yerba Buena Island, and the bay. The lights streaks are from Golden Gate Transit ferry boats.
