While out on one of MattyD90's fun rides around Silicon Valley, I just had to take a moment to see this giant double neon fixture sticking up out of a parking lot of the now-closed (then-closed?) casino and restaurant, the Garden City Casino.

Matt gave me the whole scoop on the place and about his going there sometimes when it was up and running. All I know is that it is almost tall enough to require an FAA red warning beacon and has that cool, stuff stuck on a spike style you see in Las Vegas, Route 66, etc.

While I don't spend too much time shooting old signage these days, I kind of miss it and how different it is than long exposure work.

Anyway, thanks for having a look! Thanks Matt! Back to the fog and sunsets soon.
