somehow, water seemed a fitting subject today.

 

sometimes we can stand and marvel at nature's power, the thunder of a waterfall, the amazing sound that fills the air.

 

and other times we are wise to fear it, and respect it, and be grateful that the trees are still standing, our house is intact and those we love are safe and sound.
