Pied Butcherbird - checking out my magazine

I was sitting out in my courtyard, just finished lunch, when this pied Butcherbird landed on the table and hopped across and stood on the magazine i had just placed on the table.

There was no encouragement or offer of food, just natural curiosity of a native bird.
