Victorian Steam Locomotive J549 - January 2000

J 549 was an oil burning steam locomotive for the Victorian Railways and was the last steam engine used by Victorian Railways in regular service in 1972. This photo was taken in January 2000 near Maldon with the engine being used on the Victorian Goldfields Railway which then run from Maldon to Muckleford.
