Quirky wedding cake

My colleague wanted a quirky, fun and different wedding cake, and I must say she got it!

The only reason she wanted a teapot on top and teacups on the side of the bottom tier, was that she had seen some teapot and teacup cookies I had made and loved them. Neither she nor her husband drinks tea :-)

Personally I am just soooo happy I pulled off this cake, as it is somewhat larger than the cakes I usually do, and I can't remember the last time I was as nervous as on delivering it.

I would never have come up with this design on my own, and if I'm frank, I don't think it's suitable as a weddingcake, but that doesn't matter as my colleague loved it.

Half is walnut cake with blackberry buttercream and blackberry compote, and the other half is coffee cake with dark chocolate/Bailey's ganache.
