Adam's eye
Genesis 2:7 This piece represents Adam's eye when he first opened it after creation, as he looks into the radiance of God. Thus, the pupil is contracted and there is a bright glare in the top of the eye. The triptych format symbolizes the trinity of God the Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ the Son in the Christian faith. The piece is also purposely ambiguous and its true meaning difficult to grasp without explanation, just as in Christianity you cannot find God without divine revelation by the Holy Spirit.
•Dimensions: W-29 inches H-18.5 inches
•Medium: pyrography(wood burning) on white maple
