Ah ha...the album that made me want to pick up a guitar...the liner notes say "All sounds made by vocals, bass, guitar and drums" which confused the heck out of me...how could all those bleep, blips, explosions, record scratches be made by just those four instruments?
After doing some research on Tom Morello's tricks I learned how there is a whole new world to explore with pedals and other fun stuff...the guy is a pure genius when it comes to using the guitar in a totally unthought of way....
RATM's most famous track "Bulls On Parade" is featured on the album...I really wish they would play more off this album because their sound goes so much deeper than the one or two hits they have off this album..."Snakecharmer" and "Year Of Tha Boomerrang" come to mind....
