Snake Eyed

I found this gorgeous garter snake while walking the dogs and couldn't resist the photo op. Beautiful day with full sun, which brought the snake out in the open to sunbathe but also made for plenty of photos with glare. Still, I was so pleased to find a snake on the property, they are quite rare these days.
